Corporate jobs are only using you for your time.
It is a simple contract that they make you sign and you have to go along with all of their rules.
When to come in,
When to eat.
Cover your face with a face mask.
Clean surfaces that don’t need to be cleaned every other 5 minutes.
Don’t talk to coworkers too long.
Smile always.
Give a friendly hello to every customer that shows up.
Take all of the crap that managers have to say about how you dress.
No shorts, no skirts, no hats, no bennies, no logos, and no religious, political or bias clothing that can get any customer offended.
I mean you have to seriously second check your lifestyle because you will be working there 25-45+ hours.
WHAT ABOUT THE BILLS BILLS BILLS.
Yes, we have the responsibility to pay bills, who doesn’t. Corporate jobs are only good for one reason, and that is to just pump money out of it. To actually make it a lifestyle, and forever be in the same chain and store is not the business. There is always a cap on what the company can negotiate based on the responsibility in the job. Since you are replaceable they can just get any loser to take over your place. There is always, always, always constant stress on what corporate might think of the store.
The point is you are just taking the slow process to reach the target lifestyle you wish for. That American dream that you wish for will have to be put on hold until you realize that Corporate America is not the way to go.
